Los Picachos ~ 1976

This photograph taken of "Los Picachos", a sacred mountain in Nayarit, is where Juan Negrín accompanied the artist and mara'akame Guadalupe González Ríos on multiple occasions to visit and leave offerings for the Kieri. It is where said artist drew much of his inspiration. Together they would spend the nights in vigil at the peaks and watch the sunrise with a view of Tatei Haramara, the Pacific Ocean, in the background.
