Embroidered Shoulder Bag - Kutsuri
This finely embroidered shoulder bag depicts squirrels at top whose tails form a fountain of water. It was made using the two point cross-stitch circa 1960. . The embroidery is done on a fine cotton muslin that was made at the textile mill in Bella Vista, Nayarit on the outskirts of Tepic. This example is also embellished with beaded earrings and colored wool pom poms.
