Request for a loan from ADESMO for work on the weaving workshop of Santa Catarina Cuexcomatitlán

In the early 1990s, the Association for the Ecological Development of the Sierra Madre Occidental, A.C., coordinated the construction of a weaving workshop for the manufacture of high-quality cotton muslin cloth in Nueva Colonia in the community of Santa Catarina Cuexcomatitlán, Tuapurie. In this letter, financing is requested from the director of ADESMO, Juan Negrín, for work related to the construction of the weaving workshop's installations.

"I address this letter to you very respectfully, in order to communicate or tell you that I am commissioned to request from ADESMO, A.C., an emergency loan in the amount of $2000,000.00 pesos. This money will be used to purchase a ton of cement, a ton of lime and a thousand bricks, and thus be able to work during the month of December 1992, in the weaving workshop and build the warehouse and sinks."
