Brown and white shoulder bag.
This shoulder bag, called kutchuri in Wixárika, was made using finely spun brown and white wool and was woven on the traditional back-strap loom. The design is of the traditional eight point star often seen in Wixárika weaving and embroidery.
Although the bag was acquired in 1974 it was not new. It's actual age and the identity of the weaver are unknown.
