Alessandra González

Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Alessandra Gonzalez, and I am Wixárika. I recently completed my studies in Communication and Media at the Autonomous University of Nayarit. I am currently interested in developing a project to help more people with economic difficulties, like myself, to stay informed about programs that can help us progress and not just remain passive. Many people believe that because they cannot afford their studies, they will not be able to finish or even attend university, but I believe there is a lack of communication in keeping young Indigenous people informed about organizations that can help us.  I am also interested in creating a project to help my community with problems that have not yet been resolved, always applying my professional skills. I'll conclude with the phrase, "Nothing is easy in life, but with effort and dedication, anything can be achieved."
