Brown and white shoulder bag
This shoulder bag, kutsuri in Wixarika, was made from natural brown and white virgin hand spun wool. It was woven on the traditional back strap loom and is a fine example of the traditional weaving done by the Wixarika people. The motifs include deer, the water gourd, and flowers. The front and back sides of this kutsuri are distinctly different as can be seen in the photographs.
