First meeting of ADESMO, A.C.'s members, 1992
ADESMO was one of the main environmental non-profits to work in the Western Sierra Madre during the last two decades of the 20th century. This is a testament to some of the relevant topics. Dr. Silviano Camberos was a doctor who brought together Western techniques with Indigenous and homeopathic medical practices. He carried out his medical service in Tateikié where he conducted his thesis research for the University of Guadalajara. Wayland Combe-Wright was a Welsh entrepreneur who made t-shirts using Wixarika yarn painting designs at his workshop in Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Nayarit.
