Interview with Juan Negrín

J.N.-I first want to respond a little to the idea of the consequences of an a exhibit, or a series of exhibits, in major museums in Europe, wich is what we´re proposing. So far, my experience with the Huichol over the past ten years has shown me that the Huichol, as a group of approximately twelve thousand individuals, cannot defend their rights and culture solely by dint of the number of people they represent, but rather on account of the unique importace of the humanistic perspective their culture exemplifies.
