The Wixarika Research Center is pleased to share our special preview sale of two beautiful vintage José Benítez Sánchez wool yarn paintings that measure 60 by 60 cm. This sale is a preview to an in-person event we will host in Berkeley, California in the spring of 2024, featuring a larger display of paintings and other special merchandise items such as books, cards and jewelry. The paintings being offered were produced at the height of Benítez's brilliant artistic career and their sale will directly benefit our non-profit foundation's ongoing work building a public online archive and our continued support for Wixarika education and ecological work.
